Our Hospice Care Staff

Care that supports you and your family

You and your loved ones will meet with the Bonita Springs Hospice Care staff to create a care plan that’s right for your family. You tell us your needs and priorities, and we'll find options and resources to meet them.

Here are just a few of the ways our hospice services provide support to your family:

Registered Nurse

Registered nurses and the medical director address medical care, pain relief and symptom management, and help with medical equipment needs. RNs are available all day, seven days per week to deal with crisis situations, answer questions, and visit when necessary.

Social Worker

Social workers listen to needs and find solutions to concerns, including financial and insurance issues, and grief support.

Chaplain

Chaplains are on hand to offer spiritual support for patients and their families.

Hospice Aide

Hospice aides help with dressing, bathing, eating, and other daily activities.

Volunteers

Volunteers provide a variety of care including companionship, support, hand and foot massages, and run errands or stay and visit — whatever is needed. They are critical to the success of hospice care. They help provide patient transport, office support, work in local hospice shops, and even offer complementary therapies. Volunteers also take part in a variety of fundraising activities. More information about Volunteers and how to become one »

Drug/Supplies/Equipment

Bonita Springs Hospice Care covers all hospice-related prescription drugs, supplies, and medical equipment required to treat the patient’s life-limiting illness.

We all join to be there for you and your family, and can help talk through feelings and end-of-life concerns.
